Well, it’s a funny story… I typed confuddle because I thought it sounded like it should be a word. I was all ready for spell check to give me a red squiggly line, and equally ready to add the word to my dictionary.

But no such red line appeared. I Googled the word and it turns out I wasn’t the first to think that ‘confuddle’ was a worthy addition to the lexicon.
